My Story
My name is Princess Levi-Roberts, and this is my story.
Over ten years ago, I struggled with dry skin and began searching for products that would provide the nourishment and hydration I needed. When I couldn't find the results I was looking for, I started experimenting with natural oils and creating my own formulations. What began as a simple oil-based moisturiser evolved when I discovered the benefits of shea butter, transforming my formula into a rich, nourishing skincare product.
Inspired by the beauty and richness of melanin, I continued refining my creations with a focus on developing skincare that helps all skin types look and feel their best.
In March 2025, I took my formulation a step further by whipping shea butter with carefully selected oils, creating a luxuriously soft texture that melts into the skin. I then introduced fragrances, subtle shimmer, and beautifully piped designs that made each product unique.
In 2026, I proudly showcased Melanin Glimmer at the Afro Hair & Beauty LIVE Show, where I connected with new customers and industry professionals. The experience was made even more special when Melanin Glimmer was shortlisted with an award in the Emerging New Brand category.
